I was born and raised here in Luxor Egypt and have been visiting the Pharonic tombs and temples my whole life, and I am still fascinated with them.

I am passionate about sharing my hometown with visitors. I work primarily in Luxor and Upper Egypt; but I also travel throughout Egypt. I believe that the best sites in Egypt are right here in Luxor, and love to share the history and culture of my country.

I have ten years experience as a tour guide, and have worked for many international tour companies.I a licensed guide with memberships in the Egyptian General Tourist Guides Syndicate and the WFTGA. I am also an Egyptologist graduated from Cairo University, Hotels and Tourism section.

We had one senior citizen in the group and he was well taken care of. I would recommend Mohamed to others who want to visit the Luxor area. Although we had visited before, he was happy to show us parts we had not seen. We missed the hoardes of tourists and even had some of the tombs to ourselves. Perfect English and a nice sense of humour. Would not hesitate in using him again on our next visit. John was very knowledgeable, made sure we saw the highlights, but was very willing to adjust to meet our preferences. He was totally focused on making it the best visit for us. Ahmed was very informative but did not confuse us with too much detail. Had an excellent lunch of local food. Would not hesitate in recommending to anyone visiting Egypt. I think Luxor would be difficult and time consuming without a private guide. He ensured the timing of visits to miss the hordes and we were dropped off as close as possible. We had humour too!   stuart cutler (13 Aug 2009)	Rating: 5/5	Mohamed provided good communication, always picking us up from the hotel in time, and even arranged airport transfers for a good price. I could not fault Mohamed / Eye of Horus in any aspect, and the free Feluca ride on the last day, when after knowing I have alot of sailing experience, really finished off the tours in a nice way. He was calm and a very friendly person. We felt totally relaxed. The information he gave us about the sites was very interesting (I have had guides in Luxor before and some can get rather boring and you can end up feeling like you are listening to a guide book) This was not the case with Mohammed. This was our first vacation out of the U.S. and we were a little nervous about leaving the tour group and going out on our own (also, a little nervous about hiring someone off the internet). Mohamed had quickly responded to all our questions by e-mail before our trip and he met us in the lobby of the cruise ship the morning of our tour and he was very helpful. We were able to see about five or six additional sites that the group didn’t see, incl	Gerald and Pat, is was great to meet you in Luxor. I wish you many more happy travels:) -Mohamed
  David Tomlinson (27 Dec 2009)	Rating: 2/5	Of the 3 tours booked we cancelled the last day because of a terrible 2nd day.ie guide did not speak or understand English and new very little about his subject.We did not get Mohamed who we thought we had booked on either day 1 or 2.

The first tour was excellent, the second a disaster because we were sent out with a 'guide' who did not know the temples, gave wrong information & had v poor English. We therefore cancelled our 3rd tour. We did not get the service we paid for & can only describe our second tour as a 'nightmare'. DO check out your guide before leaving base. Gave Mohammed chance to say this won't happen again - he has not taken it sadly.
